SoftwareOutlet.com started out as a very small company. It was started by Bill McIvor after working in the software industry for many years.

SoftwareOutlet purchases products in huge lots and sells it dirt-cheap. Our products come from stores that go out of business, manufacture and distributor closeouts, direct from the manufacturers and sometimes-even auctions. All of our software is brand new, and we always stand behind everything we sell.

We strive to keep the business on a personal level so as to properly help our customers. We're still open 7 days a week online, and you can talk to a human being through our toll free number (1-800-230-7638) Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm PST if you have any questions.

Technical support questions for software should be handled through the respective manufacturers. Please call the manufacturer first before attempting to get technical help from us. If you can't find the manufacturer's phone number, contact us and we will try to get their phone number for you.

My initial e-mail was not the nicest, nor the rudest, after I received IBM's letter denying the rebate. The reason my e-mail was a little harsh is because of the horror stories you here of people getting "screwed" on purchases made over the internet. Please accept my apologies for my initial e-mail.
